The host of a paranormal podcast has her world turned upside down when she receives a call from a ghost from her past.

I imagined The Caller while listening to a paranormal call-in podcast. I thought, what if the host died and and called in to his own show to tell everyone there is no afterlife? It would be a confusing and absurd and funny.

After losing both of my parents within a year, this idea changed tone.

My colleagues at Creative Veins, a performance art studio, really liked my script and produced and cast it. While there is a comedic undertone to the film, The Caller is about carrying on after the death of a loved one.
